1. Overview & Commitment

InsurMantra ("we", "our", or "us") respects the privacy of insurance advisors, agents, and their policyholders. This Privacy Policy outlines how our Android Application ("InsurMantra") handles data stored on your smartphone and synced to your cloud storage.

2. Local Storage & Zero Server Monetization

InsurMantra is built on an offline-first local architecture. All client records, policy numbers, premium due amounts, phone numbers, and family linkages entered by you are stored directly in your Android device's local database using AES-256 encryption. We do NOT sell, monetize, or harvest your client database.

3. Android Permissions Requested

To provide full CRM functionality, InsurMantra requests the following permissions on Android:

• Contacts Permission: To import client phone numbers and names into your advisor directory.
• Storage / Media Permission: To store client PDF policy portfolios and local backup files.
• Notification Permission: To trigger daily morning alerts for upcoming renewals and birthday greetings.
• Camera Permission (Optional): To scan physical policy document pages or QR codes.

4. Cloud Backup & Third-Party Sync

If you choose to activate Cloud Backup, your data is encrypted and backed up directly to your personal Google Drive account. InsurMantra developers do not have access to your Google Drive encryption keys.

5. Data Deletion & Account Erasure

You can delete all local data directly inside the InsurMantra app settings by tapping "Clear All Local Data". If you wish to submit a formal data deletion request under Google Play policies, please visit our Account Data Deletion Page.
